5シーズンにわたり清水建設江東ブルーシャークスでプレーしてきましたが、ついに別れの時が来ました。これまでの旅路を共にしてくれたチームメイト、スタッフ、そしてサポーターの皆さんに心から感謝します。

さまざまな困難がありましたが、フィールドの内外で多くのことを学ぶことができました。これからの人生においても、ここでの経験を大切にしていきたいと思います。

清水建設江東ブルーシャークスの今後のさらなる発展を心より願っています。

After 5 seasons with the club, it’s time for me to say goodbye. I want to thank my teammates, staff, and supporters who have been part of this journey. While this chapter has had its challenges, I’ve learned a great deal both on and off the field. I’ll carry these experiences with me as I look ahead to the next chapter. Wishing the club all the best in the future.”

まず最初に、この4シーズンにわたって変わらぬ応援をしてくださったファンの皆さんに心から感謝を伝えたいです。嬉しい時も苦しい時も、いつも前向きなエネルギーでチームを支えてくれて、本当にありがとうございます！

スタッフの皆さん、私を導き支えてくれてありがとうございました。特に「いい友達」であるトレーナーの皆さんには、フィールドに立ち続けるために力を貸していただき、本当に感謝しています。

選手の皆さんへ。私と家族を温かく迎え入れてくれて本当にありがとうございました。こんなにも素晴らしくて努力家の皆さんと一緒にトレーニングや試合ができたことは、私にとって大きな喜びでした。今でも信じられないのは、日本の仲間たちが日中フルタイムで働いて、夜には練習に来て全力を出し切る姿です。本当に尊敬しています！

家族と私は、このチームでたくさんの生涯の友人と素敵な思い出を作ることができました。そして日本の文化の中で生活できたことに、心から感謝しています。

皆さんの今後のご活躍を心より願っています。

To start I want to show my appreciation to all the fans for their continued support the last 4 seasons. Through the highs and lows you guys have always stuck behind the team with your positive vibes and I can’t thank you enough! 

To the staff thank you for guiding and helping me through. Big shout out to my ii tomodachi’s (physios) for helping me to stay on the field.

To the players a big thank you for making my family and I feel so welcome. It has been a pleasure to train/play alongside such incredible hardworking people! It still blows my mind that the Japanese brothers work all day and then turn up to training at night and give 110%!

My family and I have made many life long friends and memories here at the club and we will be forever grateful to have lived amongst the Japanese culture. 

I wish nothing but the best to everyone moving forward.

皆様、お疲れ様です。トロケ マイケルです。

このたび、3年間在籍していたブルーシャークスを退団させていただくこととなりました。

サニックスから移籍した際は対戦相手ながらラグビースタイル、チームの雰囲気、そして何よりポテンシャルの高さが魅力的で、移籍して来た理由の１つでした。その期待以上に年々凄い成長を成し遂げていたブルーシャークスの一員として3年間過ごせた事を本当に誇りに思います。

今思い返してみると本当にあっという間に時間が過ぎていってしまいました。特に今季に関しては自身のキャリアで重要なワンシーズンの１つとなり、初めてFWとして挑んで行く事を決めました。最初はどのようにスクラムやモールに入れば良いか、ポジショニングとタイミングであったり分からなかった事が多々ありましたが、コーチとチームメイトの支え、そしてオフフィールドではスタッフとファンの皆様にも支えられて何とか試合にも出場出来る選手になれたと信じています。また、メディカルスタッフの皆様のお陰で大きな怪我無く無事シーズンを終える事が出来ました。本当にありがとうございました。

ブルーシャークスの一員として過ごした日々は、お陰様で私にとってかけがえのない経験となりました。ラグビー選手としても1人の人間としても多くのことを学ばせていただきました。ファンの皆様からの熱心なご声援が、大きな励みとなりここまで至ることができました。国内のどこで試合しても、度々足を運んでいただける事、そして時にはアウェイにも関わらず相手のサポーターにも負けないぐらいの声出しの大きさに感動、そして感謝の気持ちでいっぱいでした。ファンの皆様が居てこそのブルーシャークスです。本当にありがとうございます。

今後は新たな環境でラグビーの挑戦を続けて行く事としています。凄く楽しみにしております。ブルーシャークスでの経験を活かし、より一層精進していく所存です。引き続き応援して頂ければ幸いです。

最後になりますが、チームの益々のご発展と、皆さまのご健勝とご多幸を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Hello everyone,

This is Toloke Michael.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that I will be leaving the Shimizu Koto Blue Sharks after three seasons with the team.

When I transferred from Sanix, one of the reasons I chose to join the Blue Sharks was because I was impressed—even as an opponent—with the team’s playing style, atmosphere, and above all, its high potential. Over the past three years, I have been truly proud to be part of the Blue Sharks, a team that has grown tremendously beyond my expectations.

Looking back, the time really flew by. This past season, in particular, was one of the most significant in my career, as I decided to take on a new challenge by playing in the forwards for the first time. At first, I struggled with understanding positioning and timing, and how to engage in scrums and mauls. But thanks to the support of the coaches and my teammates—and off the field, the incredible backing of the staff and our fans—I believe I grew into a player who could contribute on the field. I am especially grateful to the medical staff for helping me get through the season without any major injuries. Thank you so much.

The time I spent as a Blue Shark has become an irreplaceable experience in my life. I learned so much, not only as a rugby player, but also as a person. The passionate support of our fans has always been a great source of motivation. No matter where we played in Japan, so many of you came to cheer us on. Sometimes, even at away games, your voices were louder than the home crowd’s—and that moved me deeply. The Blue Sharks wouldn’t be who we are without our amazing fans. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

As for myself, I will continue my rugby journey in a new environment, and I’m very excited about what lies ahead. I will make the most of everything I’ve learned at the Blue Sharks and continue to grow and improve. I would be very grateful for your continued support in the future.

Lastly, I sincerely wish for the continued success of the team, and for the health and happiness of everyone involved.

I want to send a massive thank you to the Blue Sharks family for allowing me to enjoy my time in Japan. It has been great to experience a high quality competition like League One and also to be a part of the Shimizu Blue Sharks growth over the past three years. Really appreciate all the support from the staff, players and fans over the years.

I’ve loved my time at Blue sharks over the past two seasons and I’m so grateful for how welcoming and supportive everyone has been. The fans, Staff and my team mates have all made my experience here one I’ll never forget. It’s been great seeing the team keep building year on year and I’m so glad I could be a part of that. I’ll always remain a big blue sharks fan and will be supporting the boys next season from afar. Thank you all!

当時大学生だった私に、ブルーシャークスでチームレフリーとして関わる機会をいただきましたこと、深く御礼申しあげます。 スタッフ、選手の皆さんと共に過ごした6年間は、挑戦の連続でありながらも、私にとってかけがえのない貴重な時間でした。

このブルーシャークスでの経験を糧に、清水建設の社員、そしてレフリーとしても、更なる高みを目指し精進してまいります。
